Tone it up-Beginner leg workout

Summer is around the corner and we know there’s no better inspiration than feeling confident while you sit back and soak up some Vitamin D 🏖️ . Try our 10-step toning exercise that will have you feeling relieved you packed your beach chair 🌊 During your workout, feel free to incorporate resistance bands and adjust weights to a comfortable level, however equipment is not needed.

Are you ready to get your sweat on? 💦

Let’s begin with our warmup. On the treadmill, adjust the setting at incline 3.0, speed 3.0, and begin walking for 10 minutes. Once you are feeling loose, the pre-workout is starting to kick in, and you have completed your warmup here’s where the fun begins…

  1. Alternating Lunges: 4 (sets) x 10 (reps)
  2. Wall squats: 3 (sets) x hold for 60 seconds
  3. Goblet squats: 3 (sets) x 10 (reps)
  4. Sumo Squat: 3 (sets) x 10 (reps)
  5. Hip Thrusts: 4 (sets) x 8 (reps)
  6. Calf raises: 4 (sets) x 12 (reps)
  7. Squat Jump: 2 (sets) x 8 (reps)
  8. Step ups: 3 (sets) x 10 (reps)
  9. Donkey Kickback: 3 (sets) x 10 (reps)
  10. Fire hydrants: 3 (sets) x 10 (reps)
