We’ve gotten a lot of questions wondering why we changed our Giant Keto formula. We are glad that you loved the original formula so much, but we truly wouldn’t have made changes if we didn’t think this was a better product that you’d love just as much, if not more. It all started with the flavor. We all know BHB salts can have a strong, salty, chemical flavor to them. We all originally thought that the only way to cover this up was to crush them with high amounts of citric and malic acid. In other words, raise the tartness level high enough to mask the nasty taste of the BHB salts. This worked somewhat, but by no means to our satisfaction. It also left the product with less than perfect mixability due to the high level of acids and BHB salts, of which some percentage would settle to the bottom. Other brands may tend to settle for a product that just tastes bearable. That isn’t us. When we found a way to make Giant Keto taste even better, we jumped on it and are extremely happy the results. The 100% natural flavoring and masking agents found in our new formulas are a Giant leap forward in modern flavor technology. We’re confident you'll love the results as well!
As mentioned, we knocked down the amount of BHB salts per serving. At first, you’re probably wondering why we’d choose to give you less of the most important ingredient. The truth is, the original formula contained an unnecessary amount of BHB. You simply don’t need that much! 12g is more than most products supply and this is still more than necessary to get you in and keep you in ketosis.
When taking BHB salts, there is the chance of gastrointestinal discomfort and issues. We originally added some Fibersol-2 to Giant Keto to help combat it. Essentially, based on your feedback, we learned it didn’t really help like we thought it would. It’s that simple.
Now that you know what we took out, we can focus on what we put in! We added Vitamins B6, B12 and Selenium to the new version of Giant Keto. Why? Because who doesn’t like to feel good? Both B vitamins aid with the synthesis of dopamine and serotonin which helps with mental function and mood. Ketones are already a great source of sustainable energy, so why not give a little extra to help with that? Selenium was added because selenium-deficiency is a common issue in long-term ketogenic dieting, and if we can help with that, then we feel we should.
