Perfectly Cooked Air Fried Salmon Skewers with Sweet and Juicy Pineapple

Air Fried Salmon Skewers with Pineapple is a delicious and healthy recipe that combines the natural sweetness of pineapple with the savory flavors of fresh salmon, creating a perfect balance of taste and nutrition. This recipe is also incredibly easy to make, with the salmon skewers cooked to perfection using a hot air fryer, resulting in a crispy and flavorful texture that is sure to impress even the most discerning of palates. 

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet (boneless and skinless)
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers


Instructions:

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before using to prevent them from burning during cooking.
  2. Cut the fresh salmon fillet into 1 inch cubes and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, olive oil, minced garlic and fresh lime juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add the salmon cubes and the fresh pineapple chunks to the mixing bowl and toss it well until all the pieces are coated with the marinade.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F.
  6. Skewer the salmon and pineapple pieces onto the wooden skewers, alternating between them.
  7. Place the skewers onto the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time, until the salmon is cooked through and slightly crispy on the outside.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro or parsley and fresh lime wedges.
  9. Serve the Air Fried Salmon Skewers with Pineapple over a bed of rice or quinoa, or as an appetizer for a party. Enjoy!
