*Optional glaze: Peanut butter, chocolate syrup, or nut butter of choice
*Optional toppings: sprinkles or topping of choice (coconut flakes, chocolate chips, walnuts, etc.)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350° F
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together coconut oil, canned pumpkin puree, egg, and egg white
In a separate bow, whisk together the Giant Sports Whey protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, xanthan gum, and baking powder
Combine all the ingredients into one large bowl and throughly mix
Spray 2 non-stock 6-count donut pans with non-stick spray
Pour about 2/3 of batter into the donut pans (allow room for the donuts to rise)
Bake for about 13-15 minutes
Allow the donuts to cool off
Carefully remove the donuts from the pan
*Optional toppings: heat up the peanut butter, chocolate syrup, or nut butter of choice in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stir, then drizzle on top of the donuts and add any additional toppings
